不安症回復の時間経過—長期予後をふまえて

　不安症は慢性経過をたどることが多い疾患である。治療の第1選択としては，薬物療法であれば選択的セロトニン再取り込み阻害薬，精神療法では認知行動療法が挙げられる。治療介入を行った場合に10年後に治療を終了し完全寛解しているのは多く見積もっても半数程度と推察され，多くの患者が程度の差はあれ，社会生活に不安症状の影響が残存していると考えられる。一方で，QOLがベースラインより改善しているとの報告がほとんどであり，年代にかかわらず治療介入の意義はあると考えられる。不安症患者の受診率は低く，調査で把握されていない患者も多く存在するため，治療介入を行わない場合の寛解率は不明であるが，さらに低い可能性がある。
