医療と医学のパラダイムシフト—総論

抄録
　1980年前後に起きた根拠に基づく医学への転換と，社会の多様性と包摂を求めるマイノリティ運動は，個人の変化ではなく社会環境の変革によって，個人と社会の間のアンマッチを少なくしようという，障害の社会モデルへのパラダイムシフトを引き起こした。この新しいパラダイムの下で，医療や医学もまたこれまで周縁化してきた障害などの少数派性をもつ医療ユーザーや同僚を包摂すべく，その物理的環境や人的・文化的環境の変革を求められている。特に，障害のある人々の健康格差を是正し，誰一人取り残さない医療を実現する上で，医療者の中に障害などの少数派性をもつ人々が参加できるような環境を整えることが不可欠である。
