A ギャンブルと注意欠如・多動症（ADHD）との関係はよく知られています。ADHDは高い衝動性が認められ，この特性が高リスクのギャンブル行動に関係しています。ADHDはギャンブル障害のリスクを上げ，疾病のプロセスを早めます。また，ADHDの合併例は非合併例に比べて，症状や関連する問題が重症化しやすく，治療も困難になる傾向があります。一方，ギャンブルと自閉スペクトラム症との関係は明確ではありません。
