A 発達性協調運動症（DCD）には，協調運動，併存しやすい精神疾患・心理的問題に対する治療・支援ができるリハビリテーションスタッフがいる医療機関への紹介が望まれます。介入には，障害指向型と課題指向型があり，課題遂行に焦点を当てた課題指向型介入は特に推奨されています。また，学校における理解と支援が必要であるため，教師とのコンサルテーションが必要となることが多いでしょう。
