治療可能な認知症を見逃さないための必須検査

　認知症をきたしうる疾患は，アルツハイマー型認知症などに代表されるような神経変性疾患のほかに，内科疾患や脳外科疾患，精神疾患など多岐にわたる。その中には原因を解決することで認知障害の改善が期待できるものも多く，それらを見逃してはならない。いきなりすべての鑑別疾患を網羅的に検査することは現実的でないが，さまざまな疾患について順序をつけて鑑別を行っていくことが重要になる。本稿では認知症症状の改善が期待できる，見逃してはいけない疾患について簡単にまとめ，検査の組み立てについて考えた。
