各国における不登校を取り巻く状況—COVID-19パンデミック前後の変化を中心に

抄録
　学校への登校に関する問題は，国内外で古くから研究されてきた。特に「不登校」については日本からの研究発信も多く，その原因やきっかけといった関連要因は，世界各国からの報告と大きく異ならない。COVID-19パンデミック前後で学校を取り巻く状況は変化し，不登校は大きく増加したが，これも日本に限ったことではない。急増の原因は不明ではあるものの，登校に関する潜在的な問題が閾値を超えて顕在化した可能性や，オンライン学習の増加，メンタルヘルス低下などが関連した可能性がある。一方で，学びの場や居場所の選択肢は広がりをみせている。本稿では，特にパンデミック前後の変化に焦点を当てて，不登校の有病率，関連要因，介入・支援，学びや居場所の選択肢といった，不登校を取り巻く世界の状況を概観する。
