神経発達症における栄養学的問題と介入法—自閉スペクトラム症および注意欠如多動症を中心に

　神経発達症における食事や栄養学的問題の重要性は古くから認識されており，偏食などの食行動の問題に加え胃腸障害や摂食障害，肥満などの併存も多い。特に，自閉スペクトラム症や注意欠如多動症では，食行動の特徴，栄養学的問題および病態との関連，介入法（ビタミン・ミネラル・長鎖多価不飽和脂肪酸などの補充やグルテンフリー・カゼインフリー食など）について最近研究が進められており，本稿ではこれらに関して概説する。
　神経発達症の病因には複数の遺伝的な要因に加え多数の環境要因が想定され，食事内容には地域差もあるため，栄養学的介入の有効性に関して一貫した結論は，まだ得られていない。しかし，栄養が日常生活に与える影響は大きく，これまでの知見を活かした食事摂取状況や栄養状態に関する慎重なアセスメントに加え，落ち着いた食事摂取環境の調整を含め神経発達症特性に応じたスモールステップでの介入が求められる。
