はじめに
　摂食障害（摂食症）は，今や，年代，性的志向，人種，地域にかかわらず罹りうる，一般的な精神疾患となった。先進各国の特定の人種，成績優秀な若年女子だけに限られていたのは過去の話である。それに伴い，神経性やせ症，神経性過食症の2亜型から，回避・制限性食物摂取症，むちゃ食い症といったやせ願望・肥満恐怖を欠くものも摂食障害に含まれるようになり，異質性は増している。
