文献概要
A 41-year-old woman visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Cancer Detection Center on February 13, 1979 with the chief complaint of epigastric pain which had appeared intermittently in the last two years. There was nothing in particular in her personal and family history. Physical examination was normal Blood count, blood chemistry and urinalysis were within normal limits.
A double contrast radiograph taken at the initial examination on February 13, 1979, revealed a shallow, irregular depression of the mucosal membrane in the posterior wall of the middle gastric body. There was various-sized granularity within the depression. The converging folds showed tapering and interruption at the margin of the depression. These findings strongly suggested Type Ⅱc early gastric cancer.
