4. 病理学的側面からみた全身性疾患と消化管病変

　全身性疾患あるいは他臓器疾患の一部分として消化管に病変が生じることがあるが，消化管病変の病理組織像のみでもしばしば全身性疾患の発見のきっかけとなることもある．ここでは消化管病変からの生検(一部，粘膜切除を含む)において，認められる特徴的な組織学的変化(①ウイルス感染症，②虚血性変化，③アミロイドーシス，④上皮細胞のアポトーシス亢進，⑤異型上皮の出現，⑥その他：A型胃炎，直腸に多発する過誤腫性ポリープ，神経線維腫(または神経節性神経腫)，白血病細胞の消化管浸潤)からどのような全身性あるいは他臓器疾患が連想されうるかについて病理学的側面から述べる．
