ダブルバルーン小腸内視鏡検査の有用性―体外式超音波検査および小腸造影との比較

要旨　ダブルバルーン小腸内視鏡（double-balloon enteroscopy ; DBE）検査の有用性について，スクリーニング検査として従来より施行されている体外式超音波検査法および小腸造影による診断能の差異について述べた．小腸疾患が疑われDBEを施行した99症例のうち59症例（60％）に病変を認めた．病変の内訳としては，びらん・潰瘍性病変が全体の51.6％と半数を占めていた．事前のスクリーニング検査では45.1％が描出されておらず，その多くはびらん・小潰瘍性病変などの微小病変であった．これらの微小病変におけるスクリーニング検査の描出率は不良で，DBE検査は微小な粘膜病変の診断において特に有用な検査法である．
