消化管follicular lymphomaとは何か？
消化管に浸潤する悪性リンパ腫は消化管原発悪性リンパ腫と，全身性悪性リンパ腫の二次的な消化管浸潤に大別される．消化管原発悪性リンパ腫の中で最も頻度が高いのは胃原発悪性リンパ腫であり，その大半が粘膜関連リンパ組織由来リンパ腫〔mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue（MALT）lymphoma；MALTリンパ腫〕とびまん性大細胞型B細胞リンパ腫（diffuse large B-cell lymphoma；DLBCL）の2つの疾患単位から構成され，胃原発MALTリンパ腫には高率にHelicobacter pylori感染が関連することはよく知られている．消化管原発悪性リンパ腫には腸管症型T細胞リンパ腫（enteropathy-type T-cell lymphoma）のような末梢T細胞リンパ腫の特殊型が認識されてきたが，近年，消化管原発の濾胞性リンパ腫（follicular lymphoma）の存在が認識されるようになり1)2)，なかでも十二指腸下行部（second portion）のVater乳頭近傍に発生する濾胞性リンパ腫が注目されている3)．
