要旨　ダブルバルーン内視鏡とカプセル内視鏡の開発により，腹部CTや体外式超音波検査では検出が不可能であった小腸の小さな腫瘍も検出可能となった．小腸腫瘍のなかでも非上皮性腫瘍は悪性リンパ腫，GIST，リンパ管腫，血管腫，脂肪腫などがあるが，小さいものに限ると濾胞性リンパ腫，リンパ管腫，血管腫が多い．小病変はCTや体外式超音波による拾い上げは困難であり，その診断にはダブルバルーン内視鏡とカプセル内視鏡が必要である．
