要旨　鳥肌状胃炎はH. pylori（Helicobacter pylori）感染により生じる胃炎の1つで，小児や若年者に頻度が高い．以前は，鳥肌状胃炎は若年女性によく認められる生理的現象と理解されていたが，鳥肌状胃炎の胃粘膜にはH. pylori感染により引き起こされた組織学的炎症があり，炎症は高率に胃体部粘膜にも存在する．鳥肌状胃炎は胃体部に発生する未分化型胃癌を伴う頻度が高く，胃癌発生の高リスクファクターである．
