はじめに

　超音波内視鏡検査（endoscopic ultrasonography ; EUS）機器は順次開発・改良が加えられてきたことにより，開発当初に比べ解像力の向上などその性能は格段の進歩を遂げ，現在では病変の詳細な観察が可能となっている．しかし，その性能を引き出すためには適切な検査手技が必要であると考えられる．
