大腸憩室疾患の現況

はじめに

　大腸憩室は近年増加しており，それに伴う大腸憩室出血や大腸憩室炎などの合併症に遭遇することが多くなっている．特に，高齢化が進んでいる本邦における臨床診療において常に念頭に置いておかなければならない疾患である．しかし，大腸憩室に関する詳細な研究はそれほど多くはない．「胃と腸」誌でこれまで大腸憩室を主題として取り上げたのは「大腸憩室」（15巻8号，1980年）があるだけである．
