要旨●結節性多発動脈炎（PAN）の消化管病変の過去10年間の本邦報告32例の臨床病理学的特徴を概説する．新しい診断基準が発表され，PANの定義が変更された．近年，消化管症状から発症・診断されるPAN症例が増加している．PANの消化管病変の発生機序は粘膜下の全層性血管炎によるもので，（1）閉塞性血管炎による虚血性病変と（2）動脈瘤破裂や潰瘍形成による出血性病変の2つに分けられる．消化管の内視鏡生検から診断されることは非常に困難であるため，PANの診断基準に基づき行い，皮膚・神経生検や血管造影の所見も合わせて診断する．
