知っておくべき胃疾患の分類

はじめに
　胃疾患の分類は，Table 1に示すように，疾患別に胃癌，悪性リンパ腫，粘膜下腫瘍（submucosal tumor ; SMT，間葉系腫瘍），神経内分泌腫瘍，胃炎，胃潰瘍，胃ポリープなどさまざまなものがある．それぞれの疾患において病理組織分類，肉眼分類，内視鏡分類，病期分類などがある．病変の所見記載，診断，治療方針の決定はこれらの分類をもとにして行われるため，日常診療や臨床研究において重要な分類を十分に理解しておくことが必要である．また，同じ種類の分類であっても，本邦で用いられる分類と欧米で使用されている分類が異なる場合があり，海外の雑誌に投稿する際には特に配慮する必要がある．
