Helicobacter pylori胃炎に関する京都国際コンセンサス会議

要旨●胃炎の分類については，これまで主に組織学的分類に基づくUpdated Sydney Systemが国際的に用いられてきた．しかし，その成因論的胃炎分類に関する検討は必ずしも十分ではない．一方，世界保健機関（WHO）が公表している現在の国際疾病分類における胃炎の分類には，Helicobacter pylori（H. pylori）胃炎や自己免疫性胃炎の項目がないなど欠陥が多い．このような現状から，H. pylori胃炎に関する京都国際コンセンサス会議で，成因論に基づく胃炎分類が国際合意を得て，改訂中の国際疾病分類に提案されることとなった．胃炎の分類に関してはなお多くの課題が残されており，学会での継続的な検討が望まれる．
