要旨●CMUSE（cryptogenic multifocal ulcerous stenosing enteritis）は空腸，回腸に境界明瞭な浅い潰瘍と多発性再発性狭窄を来す原因不明の慢性希少疾患である．本邦からの報告はこれまでに認めていない．腸管病変は短い求心性狭窄が主体で，粘膜下層までの線維化にとどまり，これにより慢性/再発性の腸管閉塞症状を来す．治療には主にステロイドや手術が選択され，内視鏡的バルーン拡張術も選択肢の一つである．近年，本疾患の病態にプロスタグランジン（PG）が関与していることが示唆されているが結論はついておらず，今後の症例蓄積が必要である．
