　潰瘍性大腸炎（ulcerative colitis ; UC）における内視鏡活動性スコアはこれまでに数多く報告されているが，本稿ではその中でも本邦で使用頻度の高いMES（Mayo endoscopic subscore）とUCEIS（ulcerative colitis endoscopic index of severity）について概説する．
