高齢発症炎症性腸疾患

要旨●高齢の炎症性腸疾患（IBD）患者を診療する機会は増えている．高齢者では感染症のリスクや併存疾患が増加することから，より慎重に診療を行うことが求められる．高齢IBDの中でも高齢発症IBDは若年発症IBDと臨床的特徴が異なることが示唆されている．本邦の報告では，高齢発症潰瘍性大腸炎は年齢が上昇するに従って活動性が漸増することが示されている．近年新規の治療薬が次々と開発されており，高齢者に対する安全で有効な治療のエビデンス構築が期待される．
