　7th Meeting of Knee and Sports Medicine Section, APOA/3rd Meeting of Asia-Pacific Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicineは，シンガポールの整形外科50周年を記念して，25th Singapore Orthopaedic Association Meeting, 22nd ASEAN Orthopaedic Association Meetingと5th Combined Meeting of Spinal and Paediatric Sections, APOAの3学会と併せて，2002 Combined Orthopaedic Meetingとして2002年10月12日から16日まで，シンガポールにて開催された．

　学会会場であるRaffles City Convention Centreは世界最高層ホテルであるSwissotel the Stamford（以前はThe Westin Stamford）に併設された会議場で，近隣にはシンガポール・スリング（カクテル）で有名なLong BarのあるRaffles Hotelやマーライオンパーク，さらに今回の学会期間中にopening festivalが開催された，まるでドリアンを半分に切ったような形をしているコンサートホール，esplanade-theatres on the bay, Singaporeなどがあり，学会のロケーション（観光？）としては最高の場所である．
