■はじめに

　生活習慣の欧米化によって，本邦でも肥満症，脂質異常症，糖尿病，およびこれらの病態で構成されるメタボリック症候群などの生活習慣病が急増している．一方，社会の高齢化によって骨粗鬆症も増加しているが，両者の病態は相互に影響を及ぼすことが次第に明らかとなってきた．
