　術前から適切な手術部位感染(SSI)予防を行うためには，SSI発生のリスクに関連した患者および手術の特性を理解する必要がある．前回，低栄養および高血糖の患者への対策として栄養管理および血糖管理について述べたが，連載3回目の今回は，術前入院期間，遠隔部位感染，喫煙，MRSA保菌者への対策について述べる．また手術に関連した術前のSSI予防対策として術前の入浴および除毛について述べる．
