慢性腰痛症に対するMcKenzie法

　McKenzie法は力学的作用を利用した筋骨格系疾患の診断と治療法である．慢性腰痛に対しては，短期成績は良好であるが，長期の有効性は報告されていない．しかしながら，McKenzie法は単なる運動療法ではなく，自己マネジメント，患者教育，再発の予防にも重点を置いており，適切な運動方向が処方できる．疼痛の中央化が生じる慢性腰痛に関しては，社会心理学的因子の関与を除外でき，安全に行うことのできる有効な治療法であると考える．
