腱板不全断裂の予後を予測し得るか―MRI上の経時変化

　腱板不全断裂はその成因，経時変化に関して諸説あるがいまだ十分には解明されていない．したがって治療法も腱板損傷部位，欠損の深さ，随伴病変，患者の症状やプロフィールなどにより，その選択は様々である．今回われわれは腱板不全断裂をMRIで4群(タイプ1；信号異常型，タイプ2；信号異常膨化型，タイプ3；断端ぶつ切り型，タイプ4；断端先細り型)に分類し，各群における経時的なMRI画像上の変化，臨床症状の変化を追跡調査した結果，これらのMRI画像上の分類が患者の予後をある程度予測するヒントとなりうることが判明したので報告する．
