軟部腫瘍類似疾患の鑑別

　軟部腫瘤には，腫瘍性病変以外にいわゆる腫瘍類似疾患，反応性病変，感染性病変など多くの鑑別疾患がある．軟部腫瘍類似疾患として最も頻度の高いものは，ガングリオン，表皮嚢腫，滑液包(滑液包炎)である．この3つの疾患は穿刺し内容物を確認することで診断が確定する．軟部腫瘤の診断には，磁気共鳴画像(MRI)がよく行われるが，疾患特有の所見を理解しておく必要がある．画像診断で特定できず治療が必要と推定される場合は，針生検を検討する．画像診断，細胞診，生検で良性病変と確定され症状を有さないものは，美容的な意味を除いて切除の適応はない．
