Restless Legs Syndrome（レストレスレッグス症候群）

　Restless legs syndromeは，脚の異常感覚により脚を動かしたくなる衝動感，脚の運動による症状の軽減・消失，安静時の悪化，夜間の症状の出現により不眠を来す感覚運動障害である．鑑別疾患には，睡眠関連下肢こむらがえり，末梢神経障害・神経根症，下肢血行障害，アカシジアなどがある．治療は，睡眠衛生の見直しとともに増悪因子の排除，軽減策として入浴，ストレッチ，マッサージ，歩行などの運動があり，貯蔵鉄欠乏例では経口鉄剤を内服する．薬物療法はドパミンアゴニストが有効である．現状では本症の認知度が低いことから，本疾患に対する啓発が必要である．
