日本における腰痛の有症状割合と腰痛に関連する要因の検討―地域住民を対象とした調査

　目的：日本における腰痛の有症状割合を明らかにすること，および腰痛に関連する要因を検討することとした．

　対象・方法：日本に居住する20～80歳の住民を標的集団とし，層化二段階無作為抽出法により4,500人を抽出して自記式質問票調査を実施した．

　結果：腰痛の有症状割合は，男性29.2%，女性31.8%であった．腰痛は，併存疾患の数が多いこと，腰痛の家族歴があること，短い教育歴，ストレスが強いこと，抑うつ症状があることと関連がみられた．

　結語：日本の一般集団における腰痛の基礎的なエビデンスを示した．
