後方椎体間固定術―椎間孔部での狭窄を伴う腰部脊柱管狭窄［症］に対する有用性

　腰部脊柱管狭窄［症］の手術療法の1つに後方椎体間固定術(PLIF，TLIF)がある．この術式の長所として，後方除圧と椎間の固定ができること，椎間の拡大ができること，そして椎間関節を切除することにより展開がよいことなどが挙げられる．これらは，椎間孔部での狭窄を伴う腰部脊柱管狭窄［症］に対しても有用である．本稿では，自験例の第5腰椎/第1仙椎(L5/S)椎間孔部での狭窄をMRI画像および電気生理学的手法を用いて診断後，後方椎体間固定術で対処し，その有用性を検討した．
