創外固定器から抗菌ヨード担持チタンプレートへのコンバージョン手術の治療成績

　大腿骨6肢，脛骨13肢に対し，創外固定器抜釘と同時に当科で開発した抗菌ヨード担持チタンプレート(iodine-supported titanium allay plate，iPlate)へのコンバージョン手術を施行した症例を検討した．偽関節が8肢，変形矯正後が11肢であった．9肢で自家骨移植を行った．全例で骨癒合を獲得することができた．コンバージョン手術は，創外固定装着期間を短縮し，創外固定関連の合併症を減らすことができ有用である．iPlateは，コンバージョン手術で最も危惧される感染の合併症を減らすことができ，創外固定の将来展望に新しい道筋を示せる．
