オーバーユースに伴う膝前方の痛み“anterior knee pain”―(3)：膝蓋下脂肪体炎

はじめに

　スポーツ選手が訴える膝痛で最も多いのは，膝前方の痛み“AKP：anterior knee pain”である．オーバーユースに伴う過労性骨障害(第1回)，過労性腱障害(第2回)に続く3回目のテーマは“膝蓋下脂肪体炎”である．本稿では，これまで運動器構成体として注目されなかった脂肪の構造と機能，超音波画像所見，さらにオーバーユースに伴う膝蓋下脂肪体の傷害メカニズムと超音波画像診断について解説する．
