文献概要

　従来普及した変形性関節症の重症度評価は，数段階に分類するのみのカテゴリカルな手法であり，慢性疾患である変形性関節症の進行の評価が困難であるとともに，評価者内および評価者間評価にばらつきが大きいことが問題になっていた．筆者らは，広く普及したX線画像情報の定量評価を行い，有効利用することを目的に，膝X線自動解析ソフトウェアを開発した．本稿では同ソフトウェアに関して概説するとともに，大規模データへの適用で得られた知見を紹介する．
