腰椎神経根イメージング—Diffusion Tensor Imagingを用いた腰椎神経根の可視化と定量評価の試み

　従来の画像診断では，神経根の外側病変の診断は困難であった．腰椎神経根に対する拡散テンソル画像(diffusion tensor imaging：DTI)とtractographyの有用性について検討を行った．DTI，tractographyは神経根を選択的にかつ3次元的に描出することが可能であり，DTIのパラメータを用いることによって形態評価のみではなく，障害神経を定量的に評価することができる可能性が示唆され，神経根の画像診断として病態を反映した新たな画像診断法となることが期待される．
