男女手根管症候群間での電気生理学的な術前の重症度と術後回復の比較検討

　背景：手根管症候群に対し電気生理学的に男女間を比較した．

　対象と方法：男性58手，女性200手を電気生理学的重症度(1～5期)に基づいて検討した．

　結果：術前は男性：4期41.4％，女性：5期49.5％が最多で，重症(4，5期)は各々81％，80％であった．術後1年で，男性：77.6％，女性：87.5％が1期以上改善し，軽症例(1，2期)が各々51.7％，55.0％と有意に増加した(p＜0.0001)．

　まとめ：電気生理学的には，性差による術前の重症度，術後の回復に差はない．
