高齢日本人の脊柱アライメント—正常値とは

　近年，脊椎外科の領域で成人脊柱変形とQOLとの関連性が熱心に議論されている．本邦では欧米より高齢の患者が脊柱変形治療の対象となっている．われわれは，愛知県北設楽郡東栄町において50歳以上の高齢者に運動器検診を行っている．高齢検診者の立位脊柱骨盤X線における矢状面アライメントは，高齢群ほど悪く，矢状面アライメントが悪いほど健康関連QOLが悪いことを示した．しかし日本人高齢者では，矢状面の中等度の脊柱変形(PI-LL20°，SVA91mm，PT24°)までは健康関連QOLを悪化させずに許容していた．
