肘関節外科の歴史

　整形外科学全般の歴史は，岩本幸英教授の『神中整形外科学』23版にお書きになった「整形外科の意義と歴史」に，世界と日本に分けて，詳しい記載がある．さすがに歴史ある九州大学整形外科学教室における資料の蓄積には感服するものである．また，本誌2014年2号の三笠元彦先生の『整形外科の歴史』に，本邦の整形外科学黎明期の諸事情が述べられている．ここでは，肘関節外科の分野で，現代の日常臨床にも応用されている有用な診断法，病態，治療法の歴史を中心に述べる．
