SAPHO症候群

はじめに

　胸骨周辺の前胸部を中心に，身体の種々の部位に生じた硬化性あるいは肥大性骨関節病変がさまざまな名称で報告されてきた．これら疾患，病像には共通の要素があるとして，まとめられたものがSAPHO症候群である．今回はSAPHO症候群の術語の成り立ちを中心にSAPHO症候群について概説する．
