溝構造でロッキングされるポリエチレンライナーを用いた初回人工股関節置換術後に発見された寛骨臼底骨折

背景：溝構造でロッキングするポリエチレンライナーを使用したセメントレスの初回人工股関節置換術(THA)後の寛骨臼底骨折を経験した．

対象および結果：初回THAの215例246関節のうち，寛骨臼底骨折を5例6関節(2.4％)に認めた．全例が後日仮骨を認め骨折と判断され，保存的に加療した．

まとめ：溝構造でロッキングするポリエチレンライナーは，打ち込み時の嵌合荷重が大きく，ポリエチレンライナー挿入時に骨折を起こす危険性があり注意が必要である．
