半月変性断裂のMRI所見

　近年，膝関節への過剰な負荷などに起因する中高年の半月断裂が問題となっている．中高年の膝MRIでは，半月内の信号強度異常域を認めることが多く，半月変性，断裂を反映するとされる．中高年の半月変性，断裂は加齢や変形性膝関節症に伴って生じる二次的な変化であり，必ずしも臨床症状とは関連しない．より正確な診断と治療のためには，適切なMRI撮像法を用いて半月病変，および合併する膝OAなどに伴うさまざまな病変を検知し，臨床症状との関連を慎重に判断することが重要である．
