 人工関節周囲感染に関する問題は近年さかんに取り上げられている.なかでも診断に関する進歩は目覚ましく,診断基準も含め世界的なコンセンサスも得られつつある.本稿では人工関節周囲感染診断における,各種バイオマーカー,分子生物学的診断法,病理診断,核医学画像診断などについての最新知見を述べる.
