—高齢者の腰痛—腰痛と高齢者脊柱変形

 高齢者では,椎間板変性,骨粗鬆症による椎体骨折後の椎体変形,腰背筋筋力低下などのさまざまな原因から脊柱変形を来す.高齢者の脊柱変形では,容姿上の問題だけでなく腰痛などによるADL障害を伴うことも多い.成人脊柱変形患者の病態への理解が深まるにつれて,画像上では脊柱管や椎間孔に異常を認めないような症例で,脊柱変形による腰痛であると診断されるケースも増えてきた.本稿では,高齢者脊柱変形に伴う腰痛について最近の知見を交えて概説を行う.
