　リバース型人工肩関節置換術は良好な術後成績獲得が困難であった腱板断裂性関節症，一次修復不能な腱板広範囲断裂，高齢者の上腕骨近位部粉砕骨折・脱臼骨折に対して安定した機能改善が得られる手術方法である．Trabecular Metal Reverse Shoulderは独特なポーラスコーティングによりインプラントの良好な生物学的固定性が得られ，ベースプレートの構造的にも関節窩骨移植が容易である．上腕骨外側化とベースプレートのオフセットによって良好な術後可動域の獲得が期待できる有用なシステムである．
