変形性股関節症に対する装具療法を中心とした保存的治療

　変形性股関節症の保存的治療として，薬物，運動療法のほかに装具療法がある．WISH型股関節用S字型装具(WISH型股装具)は，股関節機能の定量的改善が装着後1カ月から明らかに認められ，この改善効果は，疼痛，歩行，ADLに有意に現われ，さらに日常の運動に関与していると示唆される．患者立脚的評価においても，WISH型股装具は装着後早期に自覚的なADL能力・身体機能を良好に改善させ，その後の精神的QOLへの継続的な効果が認められる．WISH型股装具は，変形性股関節症における装具療法として有用であり，歩行能力の改善効果も期待できる．
