誌上シンポジウム 成人脊柱変形の目指すポイント　PI-LL≦10°，PT＜20°はすべての年齢層に当てはまるのか

　Scoliosis Research Society(SRS)-Schwab分類のsagittal modifiersに取り入れられているpelvic incidence-lumbar lordosis(PI-LL)，pelvic tilt(PT)やsagittal vertical axis(SVA)の基準値は，北米の多施設研究結果をもとに算出されているが，同様の基準値が日本人にも適合するかどうかは明らかでない．そこで日米の成人脊柱変形(ASD)を比較することで，これら基準値の日本人における妥当性を検証した．その結果，同じ矢状面アライメントの場合，Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)で評価したADL障害の程度は，日本人でやや小さい傾向にあった．今後，本邦ASDのデータをもとに日本人に適した基準のもと矯正目標を検証する必要がある．
