大腿骨近位部転移性骨腫瘍に対する腫瘍用人工骨頭置換術後の機能的予後調査：術後患肢機能に関与する因子は何か？

背景：大腿骨骨転移に対する腫瘍用人工骨頭置換術の術後機能を継時的にみた報告はなく，転移性骨腫瘍患者の残された余命において本術式を患肢機能の獲得と維持に役立てる方法について検討した．

対象と方法：大腿骨骨転移に対して腫瘍用人工骨頭置換術を施行した14例を対象に，継時的な術後移動能力を後視的に調査した．

結果：術後1カ月の移動能力は症例によって大きく異なり，術後免荷のある群で有意に低かった．術後3カ月でほぼ全例が自力歩行可能であった．

まとめ：少なくとも短期予後患者では本術式術後の免荷は望ましくないと考える．
