—パーキンソン病と慢性疼痛—アンケート調査結果とみえてくる新たな世界

　パーキンソン病の慢性疼痛の実態をアンケート調査から明らかにした．疼痛の種類は，腰痛が最多40％で，肩こり，関節痛，手足のしびれ，痛みなどが続いた．パーキンソン病の慢性疼痛は患者のADLを著しく障害する．

　パーキンソン病の慢性疼痛を掘り下げていくと，みえてくる本質は中枢神経系の全体に及ぶ情報処理機構の破綻であり，そこではドパミン代謝異常にとどまらず，さまざまなシステムを巻き込んだ全脳ネットワークの機能異常という状況である．そうしたパーキンソン病の全体を俯瞰する新たな視点に立ってこそ初めて適切な治療対策を工夫することが可能となる．
