　本稿では膝関節辺縁や周囲組織内に発生しやすい，液体貯留域などのnormal variantについて解説する．“normal”な構造物の範疇からは外れるが，普段あまり気づかれない，かつ比較的頻繁にみられる病的構造として，皮下に張り出す大きな半月板囊胞，Baker囊胞のvariationとその破裂，大腿骨遠位皮質骨不整について解説する．
