誌上シンポジウム 外反母趾の成績不良例から学ぶ

重度外反母趾に対する回旋差し込み中足骨骨切り術の結果から

　外反母趾に対する手術療法は，術前計画での手術方法選択から手術施行，その後の長期にわたるフォローでの合併症を考慮すると，非常に難しい手術の1つである。術前の説明や術後のフォローには細心の注意を払わねばならない．

　本稿では重度外反母趾に対して，回旋差し込み中足骨骨切り術を施行した症例の成績不良例から，合併症の回避方法などを考察した．術前評価ではより高齢で重症度が高い症例で成績不良例が多く，術後評価ではより高齢で，男性例で多い傾向にあった．術前に合併症について詳細な説明を行ったうえで，術後のトラブルを回避するためにインフォームドコンセントを得ることも重要と考えられた．
